I was visiting a friend outside Ocala, FL and while I was painting on her dock a flock of these giant Sandhill Cranes flew over me making such a ruckus that I nearly fell off the dock trying to grab my camera and photograph them. This painting is entirely made up from my imagination using reference from the photos I took that day.
