Original Oil Painting by Sophie Dare. 12×12
On a painting retreat at the Kiawah River community, I jumped out of bed, before sunrise and before my first cup of coffee, to venture out still in my pj’s to catch the sun as it creeps onto the marsh.
This oil painting captures a moment in time as the sun slowly transitioned over the river inlet, brightening the variety of greens in the marsh grasses.
